MESSAGE

It gives me great pleasure to learn that Civil Engineering Department of Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur has been entrusted with the responsibility of designing and organizing a training programme for the benefits of officers drawn from various offices of NABRD in the country. The faculty of Civil Engineering Department has taken great pains in designing this training programme to ensure complete coverage of various aspects envisaged by RIDF. The Department has taken pains in selecting resources persons, the experts have been drawn from various engineering institutions, research organization, NABARD officials involved in RIDF activities. I have no doubt that expertise available at Civil Engineering Department aided by experts drawn from other agencies would do full justice with all the aspects of the training. I am confident that deliberations and group discussions during the training will make significant contribution in enlightening the trainees and broadening their out look and it will open new doors and carve new paths leading to optimal utilization of investments in RIDF, which I understand at present level at Rs. 13,500 Crore. I wish the training programme a great success in achieving its objectives.
